Swan English Language Training is located on Grafton Street, in the heart of Dublin city centre. Grafton Street is one of the most important pedestrian shopping streets in the city and is located next to Trinity College and Stephen’s Green.

Courses

Standard General English

Each week you practise speaking, listening, reading and writing skills in a warm and friendly environment. The lessons start with clear weekly goals, and include a monthly one-to-one session with your teacher to work on your own individual learning plan. You will have regular progress assessments and feedback, guided by your SELT learning portfolio.

Lessons: 20 hours / week (Morning) or 15 hours / week (Afternoon)
Levels: Elementary – Advanced
Max students: 15
Age: 18+
Timetable: 9.00-13.00, Mon – Fri   or   13:45pm – 17:00, Mon- Fri

Intensive General English

Lessons: 35 hours / week
Levels: Elementary – Advanced
Max students: 15
Age: 18+
Timetable: 9.00-13.00 & 13:45pm – 17:00, Mon- Fri

 

 

IELTS Preparation Course

Lessons: 20 hours / week
Levels: Elementary – Advanced

Swan Accommodation

Homestay

The majority of Swan’s students stay with host families located in the city suburbs. Host families are located between 30 and 60 minutes commute by bus or train from the city centre. Swan’s friendly host families are all English native speakers. The school offers single or shared rooms, with full or half board. Host families provide bed linen, towels and washing facilities.

Student Residence

Swan offers accommodation in a 3-bedroom apartment in Blanchardstown, Dublin 15. The apartment is located  close to bus stops and Blanchardstown shopping centre.

Social Programme

There is plenty to see and do in Dublin and around Ireland.  Swan makes sure you have an amazing time in Dublin with their exciting social programme.

Every week their dedicated Student Experience Officer plans a selection of tourist, cultural and social activities. Many of these are free of charge or with a discount so you save money.

Some of the selected tourist, cultural and social activities they organise include:

  • Trips to places of interest in and around Dublin
  • Parties, movie nights and quiz nights
  • Weekend trips outside Dublin
