CEC is located in the heart of Cork City. The school was founded over 35 years ago and is a family-run organisation that takes great pride in the service and personal contact it provides for each of its clients. It has received over 40,000 students since it was first opened.

Location

CEC’s 3 city centre buildings are located across the River Lee from the main shopping street, St. Patrick’s Street. From the school’s buildings, students have easy access to everything Cork city has to offer.

CEC Accommodation

Homestay

All of CEC’s host families have been selected and visited by their representative and they are made aware of the student’s physical and emotional needs. Most host families are based in the suburbs, 2-3km from the city centre.

Standard Host Family Accommodation

This type of accommodation is arranged on a half board basis from Monday to Friday and full board at the weekends. CEC ensures that unless otherwise requested there will be only one student of the same mother tongue in the same household.

Executive Host Family Accommodation

CEC also offers executive accommodation where students, along with all the facilities provided with standard Homestay, will have access to his or her own bathroom and the bedrooms are of a superior quality. A private bathroom is not guaranteed.

Student Residence

CEC provides accommodation in Residential Apartments, Shared Apartments and Private Apartments. All are self-catering and located throughout the city.

CEC Social

Social Programme:

CEC organises an exciting activity programme throughout the year. The school organises Saturday excursions during the months of June, July and August.

Activities include:

  • Visit to famous landmarks in Cork such as Blarney Castle, Shandon Bells, Cobh and many more

Our prices are as varied as the range of options that we offer. The overall cost will depend on the school, course, duration of study and accommodation selected by you. You pay no extra cost for our service and we guarantee that our prices are the same as or less than the prices advertised by the individual schools.
